The Lake Tansi Marina & Bait Shop offers a full variety of boating services, including boat and pontoon rentals and Tennessee fishing licenses. Gas, oil, ice, snacks, candy, coffee, soft drinks, fishing tackle, bait and fishing supplies are also for sale at the Marina & Bait Shop. Operating Hours: Beginning at noon on October 1st, the Lake Tansi Marina will be closed Monday through Thursday during the month of October and will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6 am to 6 pm. The marina will close on October 28th for the season (10/29/19 – 03/31/20). The access gate will be closed during the periods that the marina is closed.
POA members will need an access key card to have access to the launch ramp. All property owners’ boats, including sailboats, canoes and non-motorized vessels on “all lakes” must have a Lake Tansi Village boat permit. The permits are available at the POA office. These permits will allow us to determine who is not a member or a guest, and therefore not permitted on the lakes. To receive a boat permit, the property owner or guest must appear at the POA office and present his or her membership card and boat registration. Absolutely no boat permits will be issued without a current membership card and current Tennessee boat registration. Permits shall be attached to both sides of the boat under the state registration before it is put in the water. The cost of permits is $40 per vessel that has a motor on it.
